School Counseling

At Pequea Valley Intermediate School, Miss Hertzog, our School Counselor assists students in 3 main areas: academic development, career development, and social/emotional development. 

The counselor holds individual meetings with each student. She holds optional groups on topics that have included anger, self-esteem, grief, grab-bag guidance (a mixture of topics), and decision making. She also does school-wide / grade specific lessons covering various topics.
