About PVIS

Welcome to PVIS! 

Pequea Valley Intermediate School is located in rural southeastern Lancaster County Pennsylvania. The view from our school consists primarily of beautiful farmland. Learners living in the towns of Paradise, Ronks, Kinzers, Gap, Narvon, Intercourse, Gordonville, Strasburg, Honeybrook, and New Holland make up the PVIS student body.

Approximately 230 learners in grades 7 & 8 attend Pequea Valley Intermediate School. We are a 1-1 school with each learner having a Macbook Air assigned to him or her for use. The core curriculum includes ELA, Social Studies, Math, Science, and STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math). In addition to the core classes, PVIS learners are offered electives in the areas of Art, Music, Wellness, Prep for Success, Spanish, German, Agriculture, Business, STEM, Technology and STEAM.

PVIS supports the district's mission in creating an environment that inspires learners to excel. One way we achieve this is by providing enriched learning experiences such as Manufacturing days in October.
