Jazz Ensemble/ Marching Band/ Rock Band

Jazz Ensemble:

The PV Jazz Ensemble is open to any instrumentalist in grades 7-12 who is interested in learning about and playing jazz.  The Jazz Ensemble rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm in the HS Band Room.  The group plays many community concerts throughout the year, attends clinics and workshops at local universities, records at Millersville University studios and performs with many local professional jazz musicians and educators.  If you want to meet great friends and learn and play jazz music, I invite you to contact Mr. Corrao at the beginning of the school year.  Piano, bass, drum set and guitar players needed!

Marching Band:

The PV Marching Band is open to any learner in grades 7-12 who is interested in participating in our field show and supporting our football team in the fall.  Instrumentalists are always welcome to join.  If you don’t play an instrument, consider joining our Color Guard and learning to swing flags.  The Marching band prides itself on dedication, precision and putting on an exciting field show.  Band Camp occurs in the summer during the first week of August where members learn their music and field show.  Rehearsals are typically Tuesday evenings during the fall from 6-8:30pm and home games are on Friday nights.  Come join the Marching Band and make new friends while learning the music of Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Lizzo!  It’s sure to be a fun-filled season.
