Apple Core is a school-based, learner-led technical support program. Those on the Apple Core team are referred to as Apple Core Specialists. Specialists assist in the repair, maintenance, and support of computer-based needs within the school, along with special projects like announcements, website maintenance, graphic design tasks, and app development. Apple Core specialists are given a great deal of responsibility, and in return they must act professionally as they staff their building’s technology Help Desk, assist other learners during the day, and help learning facilitators troubleshoot issues in the learning environment.
